PROJECT MANAGER

Project /Practice Management
- Leads the project team through to the successful completion of a business transformation initiative.
- Manages the day-to-day operational aspects of the project in accordance with project management processes
and best practices. - Mentors the MSFHR Business Analyst in project management processes and best practices.
- Works with an existing project plan, budget and vendor contracts and revises as appropriate to meet changing
needs and requirements. - Manages the production of the project’s deliverables by the internal project team members and by external
contractors. - Ensures project deliverables meet stated business requirements and standards for quality.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Financial Management
- Understands project performance measures, including cost-to-complete projections and tracking.
- Ensures all legal documents associated with the project are complete and accurate.
Communication and Problem-Solving
- Facilitates all project team and project vendor meetings.
- Ensures the project team are well informed of project expectations, changes to the work plan and the project’s
progress. - Delivers engaging, informative and well-organized presentations about the project to internal and external
stakeholders as needed. - Identifies, resolves and/or escalates project issues in a timely manner.
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Ensures project team works effectively, efficiently and collaboratively.
Technical Understanding
- Experience with business process management and change management initiatives.
- Strong understanding of information systems, and database design and development cycles.
Project Accounting
- Tracks and reports expenses on a monthly basis or as needed.
- In conjunction with Senior Director, Corporate Services manages project budget.
- Analyzes project performance and produces status updates for the project’s internal stakeholders.

potential. - Mentors the development of the Business Analyst.

- Manages the change management process effectively.
Vendor/Contractor Management
- Manages day-to-day vendor interaction.
- Sets and manages expectations for vendor performance in accordance with the existing vendor contracts.
- Communicates effectively with the project vendor to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
- Develops lasting relationships with vendor personnel.
