
Sr. Business Analyst
Services Required:
- Manages all aspects of Systems Lifecycle Model for the assigned Clinical Information Solution, from collection of user requirements through to implementation and evaluation.
- Designs, develops and implements new process, information systems and enhancements including leading business processes re-design, addressing issues of change management, stakeholder buy in and user acceptance throughout the systems lifecycle.
- Works with clinicians, managers, physicians, clerical staff and others to identify opportunities for improvement in information management.
- Develops business cases, cost justification and other benefit analysis related to information systems.
- Keeps abreast of developments in technology and health informatics.
Specific Qualifications or Experience Required:
Analyst will perform the following activities during the courses of their contract:
- Apply demonstrated experience with clinical software development/implementation to deliver information syntheses that support decision making regarding application design and clinical change management planning.
- Develop and communicate plans for defining requirements complete with timelines, approach, stakeholders and deliverables.
- Facilitate requirements gathering with a variety of stakeholders to elicit requirements; use leading practice methods and tools.
- Create deliverables such as process flows and business requirements documents, and develop prototype or wire-frame product designs ‐ for stakeholder approval; use leading practice methods and tools.
- Track requirements through downstream processes to ensure consistent, accurate translation of requirements through design, build and test cycles.
- Mediate differences in stakeholder perspectives to enable requirements consensus.
- Build stakeholder trust by understanding business concepts, issues, opportunities and language.
- Facilitate problem solving discussion and general communications between business areas.
- Prepare functional specifications to meet technical requirements.
- Develop acceptance criteria and perform testing on new functionality.
- Prepare test scripts for user acceptance testing, training.
- Perform user acceptance testing and complete test script for sign‐off.
- Prepare user procedure manuals.
- Support training and clinical implementation.
- Apply health informatics and data standards knowledge to ensure project viability.
