Change Management and Communications Lead
Services Required:
- The WEST OCM consultant will provide exemplary leadership for development, implementation, management and monitoring of OCM and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication plans and actions.
- The WEST OCM consultant will participate in JSP Phases Three and Four solution refinement and transition planning discussions (as appropriate) and document changes to processes, tools, values and systems focusing on the people side of change management and support.
- They will also create OCM plans, following change management best industry practices, to align with the current OCM Strategy ensuring linkage of activities to the WEST Project and Joint Solution Procurement (JSP) phases.
- In addition, and in collaboration with the BCHO Leads and other designated resources, the WEST OCM consultant will create project and Transition communications to various stakeholder audiences as determined through leading and facilitating iterative stakeholder analysis and mapping.
- Using WEST PMO logging and tracking tools, the WEST OCM consultant will be responsible for monitoring, measuring and reporting effectiveness of communications and stakeholder engagement.
Scope of work and deliverables include:
Provision of OCM best industry practices (such as Prosci), stakeholder relationship management, and communication services to achieve the following:
- Actively participate in project and procurement discussions promoting OCM as a discipline;
- Lead, conduct and validate BCHO stakeholder analysis and mapping activities;
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement, involvement and consultation in decisions;
- Develop approaches to ensure understanding of BCHO aggregate and individual changes;
- Facilitate gap assessments and document people, processes, tools, values and system changes;
- Create communications to continue project awareness, understanding and support;
- Review and/or write project materials such as proposals, briefing notes and status reports;
- Develop and report on measurable success indicators for stakeholder relationship management and communications;
- Work closely with WEST Project Manager to ensure project plan activities are integrated with the schedule and progress is tracked; and,
- Perform additional business analysis activities as required.
Specific Qualifications or Experience Required:
- Change Management Certification, Prosci preferred.
- Understanding of outcome-based outsourcing methodology.
- Healthcare experience prefered.
- Ability to work with a variety of diverse stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated skills in writing project communications.
- Extensive OCM experience in leading and communicating OCM and Stakeholder Engagement activities; similar scope, budget and complexity within the past five (5) years. Candidate’s proposal should clearly set out details regarding previous role, responsibilities and deliverables.
Seniority Level: Senior
- A Degree in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of four (4) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
- A Diploma in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of five (5) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
- A Certificate in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of six (6) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
- An absolute minimum of eight (8) years of directly related Consulting Category experience.
