
Our client is an award-winning provider of solutions that enable the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). At the 2016 IoT World event, they won the “Innovation of Things” Award as the most innovative and valuable company in a field of over 150 competitors.
We are seeking a Director or VP of Sales to support and close partners and end user customers. We need a person who is ambitious and driven, who is prepared to travel and who generates revenues in a new market.
Director or VP of Sales
As a senior member of the leadership team, you will work directly with the CEO and will be a key contributor to the growth of the Company. You will increase revenues by supporting our partners and customers, by developing, negotiating, and closing business relationships with select partners and end users on a global basis.
Primary Goals & Responsibilities
- Drives rapid growth of new sales opportunities while supporting and growing existing accounts
- Develop and build Company sales pipeline, forecast and results
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential partners and end users in the IIoT market and ensuring strategies and products meet their needs and desires
- Manage sales cycles both pre and post contracts with partners and end user customers
- Maintain the corporate CRM as required
- Introduce effective and efficient sales methods and processes to the organization
- Provide feedback on market intelligence, competitors, products, trends, etc. to the product and senior management teams
Skills and Experience
- 7+ years business-to- business enterprise sales experience with a disruptive growth software company
- A track record of meeting and exceeding quotas
- Successful experience coordinating with partners and end user customers
- Proven closing abilities
- Experience selling to companies in an industrial technology markets preferred (e.g. SCADA systems, manufacturing technical operations and networks, power generation networks etc)
- Understanding of IP and/or Industrial Networking, and IT networking security desired
- Background in a high growth, disruptive culture in a small company an asset
- Strong oral and presentation communication skills
- Passionate, rigorous, self-reliant and self-starting

The IoT Gateway™ adds advanced Software Defined Networking (SDN) capabilities to existing industrial devices without the need to replace them, now or in the future. They have years of experience connecting complex sensor networks and developing highly secure and reliable SDN networks targeted towards the Defense industry and other US Government project implementations, and is now applying that experience to create solutions for the Industrial Internet.
