
Integration Architect (Expert)
Services Required:
The Integration Architect provides leadership in the development of conceptual, logical and technical design for integrated applications that are required for the successful delivery of CST Project solutions. The Integration Architect analyzes current state and existing enterprise solutions, facilitates and contributes to project management and change management processes to ensure successful project delivery, realization of benefits and sustainment of process change. The Architect works across project design teams, technical and test teams, and with connected system stakeholders to drive key decisions required for interface requirements and design. The Architect provides direction to and coordinates team members across CST implementation, middleware and connected system teams. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of clinical work flow processes and experience implementing enterprise level clinical systems.
Required Skills:
- Strong design and design documentation skills.
- Strong understanding of healthcare and the care process as it relates to integration architecture, interface technology (e.g. interface engines) and middleware technology (e.g. ESB’s).
- Strong understanding of data exchange standards with specific experience with transfer of healthcare data using HL7 across the spectrum of message types
- Strong understanding of Clinical Information Systems and Electronic Medical Records software with specific experience with Cerner application and modules suite (RadNet, PowerChart, Patient Management, etc.), the Cerner Millennium database, and Foreign System Interfaces as a bonus. Cerner Millennium 2015 code level expertise is optimal.
- Ability to translate business and clinical needs into technical architecture requirements.
- Ability to present benefits and risks of design options / technical solutions to key decision makers.
- Ability to negotiate acceptable and sustainable solutions across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills and business writing.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of the following services with demonstrated expertise with integrating clinical systems for a minimum of three of the following domains: Patient Registration and EMPI, Provider Identity Management and Location Registry, Clinical Orders and Results, Scheduling, Clinical Document Distribution, Diagnostic Imaging, Pharmacy, and financial systems.
