
Technical Implementation Site Coordinator (3 months contract)
Services Required:
Reporting to the Senior Site Coordinator, the Technical Implementation Site Coordinator will be a key member of the Managed Wi-Fi Service project team, within the Solution Delivery and Transformation portfolio. The objective is to ensure the Managed Wi-Fi Service project is delivered on time, on budget and meeting the quality, service and transformation objectives.
Working closely with the Program Manager and Project Managers, and following a detailed scripted plan, the Site Coordinator will direct the day-to-day implementation activities for a site(s). The Site Coordinator will schedule, coordinate and track the site specific activities of the project team, contractors, vendors, and business representatives. The Site Coordinator will participate in the completion of key deliverables and ensure the quality of others.
Responsibilities include (but not limit to) the following:
- Manages site plans and project lifecycle documentation
- Coordinates project resources including external vendor resources and support
- Ensures project milestones are realized on time, on budget and of quality.
- Provides site coordination leadership.
- Tactical Plan
- Ensure IMITS Project Quality and Transformation Office best practices/polices are followed
Specific Qualifications or Experience Required:
- Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and third party vendors to establish and execute plans;
- Experience facilitating and coordinating processes & activities with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
- A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a degree in Project Management, Health Administration, Business Administration, Information Management or a related discipline;
- A minimum of ten (5) years of recent, related experience in project, program and/or portfolio management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation (or equivalent) considered a strong asset.
- Past project management experience with Clinical Information Systems is an important asset, as is work experience within British Columbia’s health care system.
- Excellent proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, Visio, Project).
- Knowledge of PM tools, such as Microsoft Project
- Great project management, excellent people skills, strong written and oral communication skills, excellent analytical skills, and a demonstrated capability for handling sensitive situations.
- A Degree in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of two (2) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
- A Diploma in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of three (3) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
- A Certificate in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of four (4) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
- An absolute minimum of six (6) years of directly related Consulting Category experience.
