
Senior Vice President of Sales
Our client is a Silicon Valley-funded, Vancouver-based Company that is a pioneer in the cyber identity verification space. We are currently looking for the position of Senior Vice President of Sales in order to proactively and systematically pursue new channel partnerships, customers and new business opportunities. The role will have the candidate reporting to the CEO. Your focus will span all international markets but will have specific emphasis on Fortune 1000 companies. This role has overall responsibility for all revenue generation, including managing partner channels and direct and inside sales teams and budgets.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for:
- Develop an annual sales plan
- Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income to an annual agreed annual company wide target.
- Present our client to potential customers and channel partners through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls
- Actively and collaboratively manage product presentations to potential customers; asking questions; negotiations; close and handover to the service team
- Represent at industry events and tradeshows
- Liaise with Director of Product and customer service teams on a regular basis to facilitate product development and clarify objectives
- Liaise with Director of Corporate Development to facilitate data acquisition
- Lead responses to RFPs and requests for information
- Collect competitor and industry intelligence
- Be proactive and responsive to prospective and existing partners
- Conduct business analysis in conjunction with the finance department
- Collaborating and manage the sales team to establish strategic sales plan to reach their goals.
- Preparing and facilitating presentations and white papers for executive-level audience.
- Ability to manage and work within a budget; knowing how to balance cost-for-acquisition with value.
- Develop contracts, partnership and licensing agreements
- VP of Sales APAC, Director of Business Development, and all sales staff will report to you
Experience :
- Significant experience (5+ years) executing complex, product-driven, structured business deals.
- Significant experience establishing relationships with high level decision makers, discovering pain points and recognizing the ways with which the company’s product offering can fill the need.
- Proven track record at closing complex and unique business deals
Expedient Experience :
- Experience in consumer data, consumer credit and fraud analytics industries with an extensive network within these industries of which you can reach out in order to gain traction and facilitate deals.
- Experience in dealing with credit bureaus, payment processors, systems integrators and government agencies.
